Dieser Volljährige Single Malt von der Insel Orkney aus der Destille Highland Park überzeugt durch seine wahnsinnige Komplexität, die Mischung aus Sherryfässern und Bourbonfässern gepaart mit dem wirklich dezenten Torfrauch macht ihn für uns wahnsinnig stimmig. Für uns eine klare Empfehlung für jeden Genießer von komplexen Single Malts mit viel Charakter.

Dieser 16 jährige Highland Park wurden 153 Fässer in First Fill Rioja Weinfässern gefinisht. Zu diesen Rioja Fässern wurden dann noch 70 First Fill Bourbonfässern beigemischt und so entstand dieser sehr komplexe 16 Jährige Single Malt. Die Traubigen Noten des Rioja zusammen mit dem Heidekrautnoten der Destille machen ihn für uns unglaublich spannend!
